your search is over (for the moment anyway), look no further than
Gisele Bundchen.
Born
on July 20, 1980, Gisele Caroline Bundchen comes from a working
class family in the small town of Horizontina, Brazil. It was at the
age of 14 that she and her friends took a trip to the biggest city in
Brazil, Sao Paolo. There, as she munched on a Big Mac at a local
Mickie D's, an agent from the Elite Modeling agency asked her if
she'd ever thought about being a model.
After
a bit of convincing, Gisele |
decided
to take the man up on his offer. Her father was adamantly against
her going back to Sao Paolo for the try-out, but even he couldn't
stop what the world would demand.
Gisele
has done major modeling campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Dolce &
Gabbana, Versace, Valentino, Celine, Gianfranco Ferre, and Chloe.
She's appeared on countless magazine covers and walked the runways
all over the world. And if that isn't enough to raise your eyebrows,
she was just named the VH-1/Vogue Model of the Year and Rolling Stone
Magazine's Most Beautiful Girl in the World.
Given
all of this, it's difficult to believe the girl who is currently
taking the world by storm and turned down an offer to appear in the
hit film, "Charlie's Angels" was made fun of as a child.
"At school they teased me because I was so thin. I was called
Olive, after Popeye's wife, or even 'the skeleton' . . . I looked
like a little mosquito. My legs were the same size as my arms,"
Gisele has said.
With
fame comes the press. Rumors abound regarding her sexuality--who
she's dating and where she sleeps. Recently there have been many
stories connecting her to Leonardo DiCaprio and a few pictures of
them kissing in public to prove it. But not to worry guys, Gisele has
five sisters, all of them trying to become world famous models in
their own right.
One
of the more persistent rumors floating about regards her breasts.
Are they real? If they are, they're a pair sculpted by the gods. Many
people doubt their authenticity, but Gisele swears they're real, yet
she absolutely refuses to bare them for any of her gigs.
Yet,
if we may close this week's MVP with one brief, candid question,
we'll ask what 99.9% of men are thinking, "Who cares?!"
Imagine waking up to that body, fake or real, every morning. Believe
us, you're not going to be asking where she got it and you're
certainly not going to ask her to take it back!
